BY TRAIN

The Museum is a short walk north from the current Danbury Metro North Train Station, located at 1 Patriot Drive.

We participate in Metro North's "One Day Getaway Program".

We are located at 120 White Street in the old Danbury Train Station at the corner of White Street and Patriot Drive.

BY CAR

Normally, there is ample parking in the Museum lot. During special events, the lot fills up quickly. Additional parking is available at Patriot Garage, located on your right on Patriot Drive, just a short walk from the Museum. We can validate parking tickets on weekends which will save you $1 off the all-day rate of $3.

On Sunday ONLY, there is free parking at the Metro North Train Station. Note that large motor homes may have difficulty finding parking near the Museum.

FROM THE WEST:

Take I84 East to Exit 5. At the end of the ramp, continue across the light at Main Street to the next light (Balmforth). Turn right on Balmforth (which will become Maple Ave). Continue to the second light (White St). The Museum is directly across the street to your left.

FROM THE EAST:

Take I84 West to Exit 6. At the end of the ramp, turn left and continue to the light at Balmforth. Turn left onto Balmforth (which will become Maple Ave). Continue to the second light (White St). The Museum is directly across the street to your left.

FROM SOUTHERN CONNECTICUT:

Follow Route 25 or Route 7 North (depending upon your location) to I84. From Route 25, follow "From the East" (above). From Route 7, follow "From the West".

FROM WESTCHESTER & SOUTHERN NEW YORK:

Take I684 to I84 East. Follow "From the West" (above).
